Disagree. Consider the age, the current cap-hit, the advantage of being able to establish a long-term deal on their own terms, and I don't think Nash will return as much as Staal.
Not to mention the fact that strength down the middle is so much more important today than high-end skill on the wing.
I think he's closer to the correct deal than what Howson is asking for...a roster player, a prospect and a #1 pick...that is the historical value on these type of deals. That equates to Dubinsky or AA, Erixon and a #1.
