Hudler? Would he be any good for us?

Damn, I would have taken Konopka at that price. Solid 4th liner that can play the PK and is EXCELLENT at faceoffs.

Disagree. Consider the age, the current cap-hit, the advantage of being able to establish a long-term deal on their own terms, and I don't think Nash will return as much as Staal.

Not to mention the fact that strength down the middle is so much more important today than high-end skill on the wing.

He scored 25 goals last year, lots of skill. Has a history of scoring big goals.

So what does that equate to for the Rangers? We won't have an 8th overall pick...so if we're giving up a 1st rounder we'll have to add a 2nd or a better player than Sutter.

The real question is, will we have a full roster next season?

Wouldn't mind him at the right price. He has 20-25 goal potential.

Yeah Hudler would be a very good signing. I don't think we get him though.

You don't need one. Boyle can fill our whole 4th line and play RD on the 3rd pairing.

Because Carolina severely overpaid that sets the entire market as having to overpay? That sucks

For what he's going to get it won't be worth it. he had a good year, but the season before he put up less than 40 points.

I think he's closer to the correct deal than what Howson is asking for...a roster player, a prospect and a #1 pick...that is the historical value on these type of deals. That equates to Dubinsky or AA, Erixon and a #1.

Portzline on the radio earlier said he thinks Howson will end up taking one roster player and two prospects or two roster players and a prospect. A far cry from the 4-5 pieces he wanted before.

Isles didn't sign Konopka. They signed Carkner. He sucks more than my vacuum.

If Boyes is healthy he'll score 30 goals with Tavares feeding him. That was highway robbery.
