If it means giving Weber less ice time, I'm a happy camper.

I doubt that those moves are the only one he'll make. At least, I hope...

I'm not sure adding a bottom pairing D helps anything here.

Our defense will be awful this year. Now we have to trade one of Diaz, weber, kaberle as we're at 8 D
Markov, Emelin, Subban, Diaz, Weber, kaberle, Bouillon, Gorges

That will be 8 one-way contracts on the blue line - something has to give.

I don't hate the player, just don't see where he fits with Diaz Emelin in the #5-6 mix plus Weber and St.Denis at #7-8.
Maybe it leads to a deal?
Weber-Havlat?

Bouillon >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Campoli & Weber
Good signing as a #6/7 defenseman, worst case is we trade him at the deadline for a pick.

Good depth signing. Slightly expensive for a 6th or 7th defenseman but Bouillon has a lot of heart and character.

Pretty much how I feel.
In any case, I have to say, I don't think there's a single player available right now that would make the Canadiens a playoff contender or a cup contender. And there's not a single player I would want for many years that would be there when the Canadiens are a better team (except Parise and Suter, but I don't think we'll get either of those guys).

We really don't need Bouillon.

I don't mind this signing, he brings value to any team. However, he doesn't correspond to our needs (to get a tough, sandpaper, defensive DMAN).

Oh well, at least he disn't sgn Latenesse.
So far, he did.
Cheap, reliable, gritty players signed on one year deals.
He's gonna take care of his two-top line wings now.

Was ok with keeping Nokelainen and Moen and adding Armstrong.
But this one I'm not so sure.
Good thing its only for one season.

Not sure I get this move. I put Bouillon behind every single one of our Dmen in terms of depth.
