Carlson's play in the playoffs was especially noteworthy exactly because he was so bad in the regular season. But I think a huge part of that was him struggling to switch systems on the fly after the coaching change.

Exactly, he's only 22 and it's extremely hard to change systems when you don't have age and experience under your belt.

Glad we didn't offer Whiteny a second year (if we made him an offer at all). I wanted him, but giving multiple years to a 40 year old scares me.
