For those who hate these deals, what exactly do you want today? Montreal is in a bit of a rebuild, last thing they need is to overpay for good, not great, players and become Calgary east, at least as far as I'm concerned.
He's physical, but he doesn't grind players game in and game out. He's a feisty tough player like Gionta, but he's not the intimidating player you want on your back-end.

I'm not hating on this deal at all but I hope Bergevin has something bigger planned... Not sure how Armstrong & Bouillon make us a better team.
Yeah, these feel like piddly moves when we absolutely need something big(ish). I have a weird feeling it's going to be Doan, even if I'm praying for Parise.

Then what good is Boullion? Might as well play Diaz and Weber on the right side if you're focused on a rebuild.
No, but I ****ing hate Bouillon. Totally overrated, he's a massive scrub.
This makes all of Bergevin's moves so far look worse. He likes bargains and feel-good coach-brownnosers. Bouillon doesn't belong on this team, he was terrible in his last stint and we have too many players as it is.
And no one can say that Kaberle is worse than Bouillon. Or Diaz doesn't have potential to outshine him.
