Darche turns into Armstong. Weber (i.e.) turns into Boullion. We're getting more physical, but less durable.

Not much of a change so far. These are fringe moves. If these guys were in their primes, they'd still be bottom guys.

Good 6-7D and don't forget it's a 1yr contract.

Err that's kind of what we just did with this player. Maybe not overpay but still more than I would pay.

Relax. It's only a #6 or #7 d-man, signed for ONE season, who gonna help our youngsters, and stabilize the D like Gill was doing before.

The guy is all-heart and guts.
The thing about Bouillon is everyone says "depth" and "7th defenseman". I really believe he's good enough to be a regular #3rd pairing when healthy. It would be unfair to make him sit out, he's that good. That's why I'm worried someone (maybe Emelin, or Kaberle) will have less ice-time. We'll see what Therrien does.

I believe Bouillon won a Calder Cup with Therrien as his coach.
I speculated a while ago BOULLION would be back, and just remember BGL played on same team as Frankie B and Therrien ..

Given Markov's injury history, you can't count on him as a full-time D. If he is one anyway, great, awesome, but you can't count on it.

With that in mind, I'm cool with Bouillon or Diaz as our No. 7 (because he'll probably be playing at least half the games anyway).

Maybe the Bouillon signing means that Weber is going to be dealt. Maybe Bourque + Weber nets us an upgrade up front? That's a bit of a dream on my part, but who knows.

Bouillon was a regular top-6 dman for of the deepest and most talented defensive teams last year. He's also one of the strongest players on the league. This is a nice depth signing.

Boullion is a charcter guy, you know he is in every game, and a franco to replace Darche for interviews.

I always like FB, for a undersized he played a big mans game.

The problem was the Habs made him a number 2 and 3 dman ,which exposed some flaws, but as a bottom end guy i take him .

The problem is, Therrien likes Bouillon. He'll overuse him, just you wait.

Stupid, stupid signing.

Loved Bouillon when he was with us.

Now....he is not what we need. Depth signing. 1.5 could of been used elsewhere.

Need top4 Veteran stay at home physical "I'll destroy your nuts" defenseman

Completely different player from Gill other than being defensive Dman. Bouillon gets manhandled in front of the net.

Boullion

Noooooooooooo, that's awful, I would much rather have Diaz or Weber back there then that waste of space, I hope you "fqns" that wanted more Quebec players are happy, one like him is one to many

I don't care what anyone says, Boullion is better than PICARD ....Better then Campoli last year.....He brings more physcial play to our dfense ....which is not a bad thing.

Boullion also can drop the mits to protect himself....
