That's what I say. We can get a stopgap like Montoya and pair him for Moose for a year or two until Wedge emerges. And most of all we are saving capspace for the pivotal 2013-2014 season when expiring contracts like Zajac, Clarkson run their course and two key RFAs in Josefson and Henrique. We need perspective.
I do think we need some winger coming in if Parise does leave.
I would rather Parenteau at 4 or Semin at 5.5 then Zach at 8.5

What's the matter with that? Henrique is probably better suited for the wing anyway, a (hopefully) full season of Josefson should be really exciting, we know how solid that fourth line is....and so on. What's with all the doom and gloom?

I agree, that is just awful. Two top 10 scorers from last season, two very solid top 6 centers, three solid top 9 forwards in Zubrus, Clarkson and Josefson and one of the best 4th lines in the league. **** off with your doom and gloom.
It annoys me that Pittsburgh easily swept their mistake (Michalek) under the rug to free up cap space for Parise and now look like their going to get him and maybe Suter, too. Ridiculous. People ask how they can afford Letang and Malkin, well they'll just trade away another one of their mistakes.
