You know what this means though. Whenever we play at Bell Centre, Prust goes Gretzky on us. All their other players do.
I did my math right too!
If I use my
Former Ranger skill adjusted when playing Rangers calculator, It can be assumed that Prust will play at a PPG pace when facing us.

This slow useless fourth line is going to ruin us.
By November we will be begging for guys who can skate on that line.

The methodology is clear.
Last year the Rangers were attempting to hold the opposition to 1 goal a game and win 2-1.
This year, the plan is to add more grit and see if the Rangers can shut out the opposition on a daily basis?
Either that or save the cap space for Crosby and nab him when he becomes a free agent?

While that would be wonderful I think that if a trade is made its not going to be until end of July or August. Both Anahiem and Columbus seem to still be asking for too much and I personally don't see much changing within the next couple of hours. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Good luck Pruster, you were a loyal soldiers for us the past few years. Give the guy a break, he wanted to make some money after making 800k per year

I think he's going to be Habs fans favorite player.
And honestly, I would rather have spent that kind of money on Prust than this kind of money on Asham.

Definitely going to miss Pruster. Not the most talented guy but he was an absolutely wonderful guy and teammate. He seemed well liked by everyone and MTL will be lucky to have him.

Nick Kypreos @RealKyper
28s
Like #Flyers the #Wild have thrown the kitchen sink at Parise/Suter. Going rate on all #NHL offers are now minimum 12 years between 80-90M

No way, not an Asham fan but him at 1m is better cap move than Prust at 2.5.

That's absolutely insane.
There is no way in hell Parise is worth that kind of money. What a joke.

Don't know what I want more Min to be a good, contending team or Flyers to suffer another asinine contract that'll only piss off the player they've paid for when they trade him in 2-4 years.

If the Rangers control
all the fourth line goons, teams will have to pay us a real premium if they want to be tough! Rupp for Nash!

Brad Richards might look like a bargain contract after Parise/Suter are locked up… #NYR
By the sounds of it, I'm happy we're not "bidding" on Parise.
