Parenteau's deal showing this market is almost as fluxiated as Vegas is when they know what side Billy Wlaters is on.

Chris Mason will be Pekka rinne's backup in Nashville. One year deal for $1.25 million plus bonuses.
Good replacement for Lindback.

disagree...dubi's contract is good, he is on the same team and just had one down year in my opinion...pap proved he worked well on the island, but now has to do the same on another team without the same players he had, i think he has a rough road ahead of him

Wings have alsways liked Nash, how could u not, but the the asking price of young prospects (Smith,Nyquist) isn't Wings style to give up.

The thing is, it should basically not even be possible to match our offer that Howson has turned down for Detroit.

Like Filpulla, Adelkader, Nyquist and picks is definitely not as good offer as Dubinsky, Erixon, JT Miller and picks (both JT and Erixon will become very serviceable NHLers, Abdelkader basically got nothing and Nyquist would bust in Columbus most likely). And I don't even think Detroit would be all that inclined to deal Filpulla. The most important players in their systems are those smart centers.
