I think the Habs will give him a lot of minutes. His most successful season statistically was in 2010/2011 when he played ~12min even strength and ~2min on the PK. Scored 7 short handed goals last 2 seasons. I imagine he'll play on our 3rd line and 1st PK unit.
I can bet you that he'll get 3rd line minutes with the Habs. How can you possibly ***** and moan about this signing..seriously? When he takes on Lucy or that rat Marchand this season I'm sure you'll change your tune.
Because I know that punching dudes in the face doesn't win games. Scoring more and allowing less goals does that.
And Montreal isn't going to win unless they get scoring from their 3rd line. That was the need to address today. Not punching people.
Prust, Moen, Armonstrong, White in the bottom 6, that's sand paper and nastyness.
Yes indeed, bring on the f..k.. b"s, we will answer the the bell this time round...can't wait to see it....get another bruising d-man, that would gravy..lol
On the bright side, Leblanc/Galchenyuk/Gallagher won't have to be rushed to the NHL.
I love your third line. I think both Armstrong and Prust are fit for the 3rd. They can produce 20-30 points if given the ice time, which is what you realistically expect from third liners.
I've made just one tiny adjustment to your line-up. As I said in the line-up thread, I want Diaz to take more room on our roster.

I was hoping for a skilled winger for Eller to develop his offensive game, having Prust and Armstrong as his wingers wont help him at all. Hope more is coming from MB.

Think again. Because you have a guy that will protect your smaller skilled guys they won't be afraid to play their game. We were pushed around by practically every team in the league. We won't be this year you can be sure of that Because we have guys like Prust and Armstrong who will stick up for these guys we'll be a much better team. You don't always need scoring from the 3rd line to win btw. Besides Armstrong and Prust aren't just fighters.
We always have to overpay by about 500K. Did it last year with Cole and guess what, he was exactly what we needed. So we overpay Prust by 500K, the money we would have given to a Stan Darche. Who cares? To get what you need sometimes you pay a little more. When the $2 beer is way better than the $1.50 beer, you get the $2 beer every time.
Prust is overpaid by about 500k, I'm sure many teams would've paid 2M a year to get him, but being in Montreal we always have to overpay to get UFA's and 500k is no big deal with a 70M cap. So glad we got him would've preferred a 3 year deal though.

I'd much rather give that extra money to Prust over Darche.
