It my be more prevalent in football but many people think that being in the upper level is too high too see anything and wll take a crapy lower over a good upper.
Only two types of people actually think that. 1) those who have never sat in the upper bowl and 2) those who are stupid. Even moreso when it comes to football.
I told my rep I couldn't do more than $79 and am looking for two seats together. He said I was one of the early new customers that will be contacted. I used to have seasons from 2003-2006 as well..
Well looks like I wont be getting season tickets this year.. lol
When the team is going good like it now it is very hard to get $50 seats as well as $53 seats. Usually if you put a deposit down you might have to spend 1 season in the lowers before downgrading. Unless they changed there policy once you put down a deposit you have to take whatever is available. The system is not perfect but with a scarcity of upper tickets 1 year downstairs is not bad as long as the team is a contender which I expect them to be.
Just curious...Did anyone here go through the secondary relocation process? If yes, where did you end up?
I heard that there were still a scattering of seats available and the Rangers should be able to take care of all there current STH,S. I know someone who requested 2 extra seats and nothing was available on Friday under $125 per seat but he received a phone call this afternoon and picked up 2 extra in section 209.
So today you can start adding seats to your account. No surprise, the only available seats are $125 row 1 in the upper bowl
My date to add more seats was last Thursday, when I logged in there were only 2 73.00 seats left in one of the corners. I was hoping there would be 53.00 seats available to add.
Not sure why your date was today, this year will only be my 4th as STH I wouldn't think there are many people lower than me.
Don't think they've gotten to new subscribers yet.
They must be desperate to sell lower bowl tickets because they called me asking if I wanted another pair in the $114+ sections. And I put down "no" to adding new seats

I got a call from my rep a while back, he said they will be contacting me the week of July 9th.
I put down a deposit 5/31. First time trying to get tickets, does not look good :0

Assuming you were looking for $50-$70 seats it's going to be tough. Many first time subscribers have had to go for lower bowl seats in year one to get in the door. Then you can drop down to cheaper options after the season is over (despite what they might have you believe.) Hopefully you'll get lucky and they come up with something for you.

Looking at what's available to add..only $125 seats in Upper..a few $114 and $132 in Lower..not many affordable seats left

Yeah, we knew it was going to be tough, but we really can't afford anything over $73 so it seems we are not going to have season tickets this year. Well, we'll see.. We were preparing to bite the bullet and take the $73 tickets this year and downgrade to $53 for next year but $114? Hardly.

I have had uppers (first row) for 20 years.
This year I sat in section mid 105's for maybe 5 games? 106, 107, for maybe another 3 games.
All the lower tier seats were great when the action was near me. I could appreciate the speed and power of the game. However, When there were scrambles in front of the net I was clueless due to the lack of visibility.
The uppers have always offered a better overall view of the game but the trade off is that you are further from the action.

I put down my deposit on 3/19.. Wondering when I will get my call.. It originally went from early July to mid July my rep said he will be calling..

Maybe it depends on which seats you are interested in?
I told the rep I prefer in the $50's, but $70's may be a possibility.
Also he asked where I work, who I go to games with etc. I wonder what (if anything) they do with this info. Maybe it is not at all related to my ticket request but general MSG customer profiling.
