Forget Parise. There's way better free agents next year. We'll be better off not crippling the franchise with a contract Parise will never live up to. I'd rather have give that contract to a game breaker.

Parise is negotiating the biggest contract of his life, why would he, his agent or the teams he's talking to leak out valuable information is beyond crazy IMO.
I'm convinced these rumors come from interns who fetch some bottled water and cups of coffee and overhear something. It's like the old game of telephone or the grape vine scene in Johnny Dangerously.

Well think about it. If ZP signs, we are set for next season. If he doesn't sign, we will never hear the end of our financial problems, we lost our captain and best player (or IK, debatable), have two 40 y/o goalies, and so on...
Honestly which ever piece of paper ZP decides to write his name on will dictate us having an awesome summer/beginning of season or setting up for absolute HELL. We think every TV Network and journalist hates us now... just wait.
