Carolina continues to screw over the Habs.

Horrible against NJ in their last few meetings, lost 2 to ATL in the last 2 weeks and now tonight.

Magic number against Tampa = 2!

And they play Carolina again! I keep expecting Carolina to get their act together and they always disappoint me...

Carolina lost to Atlanta twice in 2 weeks. The last 2 saturday's infact. And both games were blowouts.

I'll say it again...If it comes down to Carolina or Ottawa...gimme Carolina. Their defensive play was full of holes at times tonight and that 4th goal on Gerber was Cloutier-esque...Unless of course Hasek is still hurt or showing huge signs of rust.

Don't worry. TB and the Habs won't make the playoffs. TO and ATL will ! And TO will once again beat Ottawa in the first round....

Geez... I am having a nighmare !

Tomorrow should be a roller coaster ride... the Habs have 3 chances to clinch.

Atlanta plays Boston at 2pm, so if they lose the Habs will have clinched before their game even starts.

Montreal then plays Buffalo at 7, if they outright win or make it to OT they clinch.

If God forbid that doesn't happen, the Tampa/Carolina game starts at 7:30, and thus Habs fans can catch the end of that and if Tampa loses in regulation, we clinch.

I don't know if my nerves can take that.

If Toronto makes the playoffs, Montreal has to. Toronto can't pass us.

I'll take just getting in, whoever we would have to face, it's going to be an uphill battle. If it's the Canes, hopefully the Hab killer Cole is still injured.

Cole was on the broadcast of the game and said he is like 10-21 days away from even thinking of doing hockey activities. He'll miss round 1.

I watched the game tonight on NHL Networks and I really want to face the Canes in 1st round. IMO, we have a really good chance to beat them since Cole won't play. Also, Gerber was awful tonight and he has been struggling in the past few weeks.

With the result of this game, it is looking more and more that it will be a Sens/Habs first round series. If it is the case, it is going to be insane.
