Disappointed with the no Jagr. I hope this doesn't mean Bergevin is done.

Because you would need to pay them their "real" salary. Gomez salary next year is 5.5M and 4.5M the year after while his cap hit will 7.3M.

I'm betting Bergevin is looking to add through a trade, after seeing the guys he went after through free agency it wouldn't surprise me if he went after someone like Ryan Clowe.

Yah i'm pretty sure the Kings won the cup because:

Quick - 1.46 gaa, .946 saves percentage
Bryz - 3.46 gaa, .887 saves percentage

Those were FANTASTIC trades for the Flyers, too bad they suck at scouting good goalies.

That article from the chicago beat writer doesn't work though unless other pieces go the other way, we definitely couldn't run through next year with budaj, on top of that the D needs more work then then the forward corp

Anyone?

Are we really that worried about Leblanc being "buried'' in the AHL that there's not room for another guy on a stop gap type situation?
Because it doesn't make sense in the long-run to our FO? I'd like to think they know what they're doing.

so who's left as a potential top 6 W target ? Semin ? Hudler ?

We may get stuck with Bourque for that job...
