Doan or Semin

Hopefully they're working on Doan. He'd fit into the mold for sure.
And, contrary to most, I'd love Semin.

He has elite tools, and there is always potential he'd give an effort depending on his surroundings or if challenged properly. You have to sell him an idea or something.

In a so-so year, he'd still contribute more goals and more flash than Kostitsyn, which I really liked.
Kostitsyn's physical input was mostly underrated, sadly.

Why does Mueller don't draw more attention ? Does he still have health issue ? He came back last year and seems like he put some decent number.

Shawn - where's this speculation we're about to make a big move? Or are you just reading into MB moving back his presser?

Why is that? For one year. I don't see how it could be a bad thing. Unless you think Bourque is better than Jagr.

The no interest from Bergevin for Jagr means he's looking for something better.

Semin also would (hopefully) have 2 fellow Russians on the team to bond with.

I realize in Washington he had OV...but maybe constantly being known as the "other'' Alex got to him or something.

He's an underrated 2 way guy, and a proven goal scorer. I'd be okay with them signing him.

Parise & Suter are killing the market.. Everyone is waiting on them so that they can get more $$ as "Plan B's". Come on Already, make your god darn decision

Bergy just go to the Podium and say 'We're trying to trade for Evander Kane, talk to you guys later'.

Would make me feel better

No thanks.
Lets say Bergevin sees this year as a write off, and that he sees galchenyuk making the team out of camp in a third line role, he trades plekanec, Gallagher/kristo and 2 2nds for him?

Probably the 2 delays for the presser. If it's not Jagr that's causing the delay, what is?

Bergevin's delaying of press conference doesn't necessarily mean that something will get done, but I imagine it means that he's TRYING to do something.

Keep your hopes in check, folks.

Not saying teams dont change their minds and bounce back, but as of now Panthers no longer interested in Luongo.

@Eklund. Sorry pal. Just talked to Dale Tallon and he says nothing has changed. Still talking with Van. Nothing imminent. High price.
Poor Eklund...

my Hf value is probably all over the place but I think that that trade could work you basically run a two power forward offense is patches and ryan for a while and then when galchenyuk is ready its gonna get real aggressive
