Dreger is really bored, he is basically spending the day ridiculing Eklund .. lol

Not saying teams dont change their minds and bounce back, but as of now Panthers no longer interested in Luongo.

@Eklund. Sorry pal. Just talked to Dale Tallon and he says nothing has changed. Still talking with Van. Nothing imminent. High price.
Lets say Bergevin sees this year as a write off, and that he sees galchenyuk making the team out of camp in a third line role, he trades plekanec, Gallagher/kristo and 2 2nds for him?
Why?
Seguin worked in a 3rd line role with Boston because they had great center depth, a quality team and the ability to play on the wing since he wasn't ready for center.
Plekanec is older than Ryan but he's a far more valuable hockey player than Ryan.
Gallagher/Kristo are damn good prospects.
Those 2 2nds are in a very deep draft and depending on how both Calgary and Montreal do COULD be top 40 picks. Can either draft them as is, or use them and other assets to move up.
The path to creating a consistent contender is not overpaying for established players.
And again, Anaheim wants to save money in the whole deal...so Plekanec wouldn't interest them since he makes about the same as Ryan.
Is this sarcasm? Are you not happy that we won't have Darche, Weber and Palushaiiaj anymore on our 4th line? Grinders with character? Bring it on! I like it! If they could trade Bourque for Clarkson, I'd be even happier!

If there is no big move coming and we're all excited about nothing I hope Palushaj gets a chance playing legitimate top 9 minutes with legitimate top 9 NHL players.
Either that or just waive him, or trade him for a 6th round pick.
Reason why Bergevin keeps delaying his press conference is probably because he doesn't feel wrapping this up with three marginal signings. There's either a big signing or trade coming up ahead.

Ryans a 25 year old power forward who has been a consistent 30-35 goal scorer, gallagher or kristo not both You've got to give to get, and I have no idea where the value is or not, but this is just me spit balling. We'd be rolling on the wings for years with two powerforwards

Logic dictates there has to be, given the delays and the fact this club has not improved very much (although I do approve and like the moves that have been done).
A trade for Evander Kane would make me one happy camper.

Or it's just a last minute hail mary attempt to court Parise.
