That doesnt take delaying the presser.

IMHO, to call a presser before Zach Parise has signed , shows your not serious .

Just unfair to him.
At some point if you are somehow a little talented, you will create your own chance. I didn't notice any flash whatsoever from him. Pretty disappointing if you ask me.

Thats what I'm also thinking, either Price/Subban gets re-signed or he pulls a big trade.Dont think there's ne one left he wants in the free agency besides Parise & Suter but we know they would never sign here

Yeah, and if you're going to ''give'' a package like that there are many players I'd rather see than Ryan.

Hell, if you're going to offer Plekanec, one of Gallagher/Kristo and 2 2nds might as well add a 1st, and one of Tinordi/Beaulieu and grab someone like Mikko Koivu.

Stupid to overpay for a winger. As great of a goal scorer as that winger is.

Especially when for no assets out (and probably not much more than 1.5 extra million per season) you could get just as good of a goal scorer in Alex Semin.

A guy who is not even that much older (3 years) than Ryan as well.

Lol, look at the guys he was playing with.

Come on man, no one is saying he's the next Sidney Crosby but when you have a young PPG AHL guy come up and he plays 4th line minutes with 4 line players how the hell can you be disappointed?

Do you know how hard it is to create offence in the NHL? Let alone if you have to create it all on your own because your linemates have little to no offensive capabilities?

Does anyone know if Dudley made comments about Palushaj's future in the NHL? And it being very promising?

Someone on my twitter feed made this joke

#ReasonForBergevinDelayedPressConference Still can't look Dudley in face without laughing after Dudley spoke highly of Palushaj's future.

Pretty ignorant and dumb comment, from someone who is getting close to being unfollowed...but wonder if it's based on something that actually occurred.

How many people need to confirm it?

So they were not interested in Parenteau and Jagr.

Are they actually looking for a winger for Pleks or they still haven't figured that out yet ?

Maybe they still believe in Gomez as a 2nd line winger. If that's the case I'm going to shoot myself.

Look, I'll give him more chance and yes, I think he deserves it. But as I said, I didn't nothing special from him (good passes, speed, good shot, something!!). He will have the training camp and probably a few more games this year to prove us wrong ... again.

Crazy hearing today of 100M+ being thrown around by #NHL teams in last ditch Parise/Suter effort. Shows how desperate teams are 2 get better

what? all Bergevin has done is add in players who play with some toughness, Ryan would fit that mold, Semin would not. Semin plays a finesse game, Everything about bergevin to me suggests he prefers a power game.

I don't know what I'd offer but your getting a player who is the same age as our goaltender, who is typically thought of as the franchise player. all the talk has been they want a 2nd line center in return hence my suggestion of plekanec

Could it be that MB is pursuing Parise or Suter, and that a decision is imminent - which is why he hasn't spoken to the media yet?

Or trade half the team for Ryan (or E. Kane, since the Jets are likely to match). Hell, if we want to take a gamble, might as well make Semin an offer.
