so at 20+ goals and 50+ points, is that not what we would expect from a second liner?
Sure, but if we can find a better 2nd liner who actually brings more to the table than just points, then you do it. That's my point. We already have enough players that are defensively challenged, aren't physical, and inconsistent.
So package Stalberg+1 of Stan's vaunted draftees (Danault?) to NASHVILLE for RADULOV..
This will:
1. Provide party boy Kane with another drinking buddy.
2. Provide a feeding of each other and score myriads of points proving like Richards and Carter the drinking buddies Holmgren shipped out of town that ACTUALLY drinking and partying CAN get you a Cup -if only ON THE ICE you decide you will give to your max. ability.
3. Remove the scowl from Q and make him look like a genius.
Didn't they prove that Radulov only went out to dinner before game 3 and it was at a place with no alcohol? He just returned to the hotel like an hour late or something?
Not sure if that's what you're referencing about his drinking hawksfan
If you wait and he's on pace for a similar season, Hawks won't be able to afford it. It's really a no win situation if you wait unless the Hawks are out and you deal him. He helps the Hawks win a cup and you let him go.
VS & Danault would be overpayment for a RFA that has no future on his current team. They will take the best offer and nobody will offer them a 40 pts player

Who knows what the truth is with that story. He obviously violated curfew and looked like pure garbage in games 1 & 2.
Stalberg is not worth more than 2 million to the Hawks. He won't sign for that with the Hawks. Bowman should trade him after Parise is off the market and Nash was traded. Every team that missed on them would have interest in Stalberg. Let some other team overpay for him

Yup, the line of 20-20 guys or is it 20-30 guys starts right here... where'd they go again?

Brouwer put up that kind of numbers, Kopy did, now it's Stalberg. No reason to sign him for that much.

They might be not too common, but guys who, playing with some of the best players on the team, score 3 points in 13 playoff games are a little easier to find.
He should be moved while his value is artificially high.

Stalberg will get a deal like 3 years @9.5 hopefully

Without the 20/30 this team doesn't get in the playoffs so...
