I'm hoping Rosario is the second coming then. If he can hit .275 consistently he will be a great asset.

I did. He's a former Cub, so it was obvious.

A lot of young power hitters have holes in their swing, not a huge deal to me.

Actually, so do a lot of veteran power hitters.

I seriously hope PRich sits out this year and redshirts. He had surgery for torn ACL in April, and he wants to come back now? Come back next year when our team is less ****tier.

Word has it he wants to play the whole season.

I wouldn't advise it, but he is a solid weapon and I expect the Buffs to go to the air a lot this year.

I think that, if healthy he could put up some numbers this year, although that's dependent on other guys emerging into real targets, which I only have marginal confidence in.

I guess he's cleared to run and jog but not make cuts yet. He's a solid weapon, and he's also the only weapon. I am high on Gerald Thomas though, he's going to be true fresh this year, but he has speeeeeeeeeeeed. Hopefully Tony Jones doesn't get injured, and whoever the QB is whether it's Wood or Webb is solid. I expect Webb to start the season.

I expect Webb to start, and Wood to be a huge disappointment.

I don't like Tony Jones or Josh Ford very much, the Buffs still need an every down back. Say what you will about Speedy and Hugh Charles, but they were guys who really profiled more as third down backs than every down starters, and I think it showed.

I like Tony, built similar to Speedy. Neither are much durable though. I like Malcolmn Creer a lot, too bad he got an injury (Torn acl I believe) just after burning his redshirt last year. I like Davien Payne a lot, from this recruiting class.

Why? LA Kings traded for Nash, not LA Lakers.

Hahaha. When I first heard I thought it was actually Rick Nash to the kings.

I think I must be getting old, because all I have watched the past 3 weeks is soccer, golf, and today the Wimbledon.

For a player who was beyond horrible with the Cubs, Colvin has sure turned it around.

Dexter Fowler has 11 HR before the All-Star break. I wasn't sure Dexter would ever hit 11 in a season.

Fowler has always had good strength. I think the only question as to whether he would ever hit HR or not was based upon if his swing would ever allow for it.

He's really put it together this season across the board. His streakiness was downright painful sometimes. I'm glad he found his groove this year without having to take a trip to The Springs first.

I suspect he will make another trip to Triple A sometime in his career, his swing is ugly.
