Just for clarification, Klinkhammer signing with Phoenix is what SpezDispenser is referring to here.

But, don't worry SD, the Senators signed Hugh Jessiman!

What is this, the third time Syvret has been in the Flyers organization?

Martin St.Pierre's contract is an AHL deal.

Two players have tweeted some news worthy info :

Jonathan Matsumoto
@Matsy11

I am thoroughly excited to be joining the @SanJoseSharks organization. I am excited for a fantastic 2012-2013 year!

Mathieu Beaudoin
@matbobo26
Excited to be with the Hershey Bears for next season. Great to be part of this historic franchise.

EDIT : AHL deal for Beaudoin
http://www.hersheybears.com/news/detail.php?id=3850

With Beaudoin, Taffe and DiSalvatore signed, the Hershey Bears have signed more NHL free agents than a few NHL teams.

Hey just a quick comment: I know Kyle Wellwood isn't the thinnest person, but does he need to be down two times on the excel sheet?

That's a weird quirk that comes up when too many players are in the table. It did the same with Kenndal McArdle yesterday. I'm going to have to move a few players off the table. Maybe AHL signings.

How about moving the Euro signings off the table too?

I've "only" been a die hard NHL fan for seven years, and seeing players retire gets tougher and tougher. Even a journey man like Nolan Baumgartner... Ten years from now I'm going to be a sad, sad person

Easy my friend. He will not be long away.

He will be assistant coach of Chicago Wolves

Per what seems to be his agent, sounds like an NHL deal.

Per Chuck Schwartz of Bucky's 5th Quarter (Badger Hockey Blogger)...

Quote:
“@UWChuckSchwartz: Former Badger Jake Dowell has signed a 2 year deal with the Minnesota Wild per @WEAUGallaher. He's very good friends with Suter.”
Quote:
“@UWChuckSchwartz: Dowell and Suter played together at the NTDP, and Wisco. They also share the same agent, Neil Sheehy. *Very good 2-way center. Good signing.”

Yeah, that instantly made me feel better. We needed someone like that for Binghamton (AHL). Klinkhammer was solid for us, I wish him the best in Phoenix.

I really thought he played well for the Sens down the stretch. I was surprised he didn't get more ice-time in the playoffs.

I wonder if Klinkhammer has become an NHL player. I wonder if it's more likely he starts in Phoenix or Portland. I think from his recall last year with the Senators, he can be a legit bottom 6 NHL player. I think he's ready. And the Coyotes are exactly loaded with forwards so he has a shot at making the team.

Wow, alot of good names left on there that can help some teams.

As for the last part, those who might not have much left, I know Commodore was left to dry in Detroit, but I really liked what I saw from him with the Bolts at the end of the year.

Not sure if anyone will want a veteran D man who's towards the end, but I'd like to see one of my teams bring him in to help out with the younger guys and still be able to contribute.
