thats the true issue here, I believe... are Weber and Suter really buds? Some have suggested(opinion only) that Suter wants to be "out of Weber's shadow"

at this point Im not sure if the thought of playing with Weber the rest of his career is a plus or a minus for Ryan... would you be happy being "Robin" if in reality you were just as good as Batman but with a less flashy skillset?

If he is worried about legacy or whatever, he and Weber could go down as the greatest pair of all time. that my friends, would be a hard thing to pass up. Be the man, or be part of a greatest ever..

So is the next period going to be the Industrial Revolution during which time we work the kids to the bone trying to establish riches we have yet to imagine? And then we can have a Great Depression, which will give birth to the Greatest Generation.

You heard it here first. We are only a few "ages" away from a dynasty

From the main board:

Quote:

‏@HeleneStJames

Ryan Suter agent Neil Sheehy tells Free Press: "A decision is forthcoming but.... everything needs to be considered carefully."
So, there's nothing to report.

Maybe not. It's amazing how one can become a millionaire after putting sauce and cheese on a piece of cardboard. Genius.

It flew back to Detroit, too. Unless Suter is on that plane I'm not sure it's a good sign for Detroit. If Suter is on the plane then expect the announcement of a press conference soon.

Half full: Suter told the Wings to take a flying leap.

Half empty: Suter's on the plane.

Sweet justice: Suter's on the plane, Wings thinking he's going to sign with them, then at the presser announces he's re-signing with Nashville. Priceless.

Broke college kids + cheap beer + $5 sauce/cheese/cardboard = millionaire.

Reports coming out that the Wild's team plane went to International Falls (where his agent's office is located), and then to Madison, WI.

Either teams are going all in, or he had made a decision. Maybe both

My total guess...from the start, I believe his agent only wanted to conduct business over the phone. I'm guessing, as time goes on, he's allowing face-to-face pitches before his decision. With tomorrow July 4th, I still don't think we hear anything until Thursday.

Yeah I forgot that they weren't taking face-to-face meetings. I wouldn't be surprised if he is taking those meetings now, takes tomorrow off to spend time with family, and makes an announcement on Thursday.

Preds need to match that. The guy plays a game that will allow him to be effective for quite a long time, and if everything inflates like we think it will, 6.9 will be a steal.
