Well Rupp is becoming a more and more redundant piece. I am expecting he will be traded. If it isn't before the season starts, then sometime during the year.

I like how you refer to that package as Higgins et al.

Hooray for the bottom 6 work since Sunday.

Now its my humble hope that the true problems of this team can start to be addressed.

It seems like Sather is spending hardly any money to fix the depth issue. Is this because he knows he's gonna get Nash?

What do you think about the contract for Jagr? 4.5 M for 1 year.

I absolutely would have gave him that deal. 54 pts last year

I don't like what Dallas is doing. They're preventing their inevitable losing season. Just let it happen, geeze. Whitney and now Jagr? Who's next?

I thought they were trying to get younger, not older. They have made some counter intuitive moves. Still 4.5 million for a 50pt player is not a bad contract for a year.

Though Jagr will probably be useless come playoff time.

Whitney-Roy-Jagr for 2nd line.

They still wont make the playoffs.

What does this mean for Brendan Morrow?

I'm pretty sure this will be the Dallas top 6:

Eriksson-Roy-Ryder
Whitney-Benn-Jagr

As someone who is transplanted to the south from NY and slightly out of place, Jagr is going to be a strange fit in Dallas.

It means that Morrow is going to be on their 3rd line, which is where he belongs at this point in his career.

Its Dallas, not Nashville Tennessee. Remember, Jagr spent most of his career in Pitt. I would argue that Dallas is more cosmopolitan.
