I hope he does really well.
More like FRANCHISE-WORST PP.

Nice!
What an offseason we're having! Still got more than enough to lock up Benn and maybe trade for J-Bo or something.
Going to be great year, I can feel it.

He just want to ensure that he will be a HHOF so the logical step is to sign with the Dallas Stars.
Welcome Jaromir!
I feel so happy for the whole franchise and our Czech Players!
Btw. who is Suter and Parise?!

I still haven't completely forgiven Jagr for the '91 finals.

I'm genuinely shocked.
For the Stars, this is another strong bridge contract, like Whitney. They paid big for both guys, but who cares? Need guys like this in your organization to get the kids going before they stand on their own.

If we trade for JBO and maybe even Doan to play in the bottom six holy crap this team from from loser to possible contender. So much scoring depth now...

I see how it is. See you boys later. Interesting team. Pretty old but still functional. Hmm

I'm guessing Jagr doesn't take more than a handful of even strength shift without Benn centering him. Hopefully we can recreate the dynamic that made Giroux so wildly successful in Philadelphia.
This looks like the very unique circumstance where a forty year old is signed to a one year deal with an eye for the future.

Benn also just became the hottest fantasy breakout player of next season. Whitney and Jagr feeding him? Expect Giroux-type breakout.

Jagr helped Giroux to be on the NHL 13 cover
So if he will on the line with Jamie... guess what?

That is a little bit concerning although I don't think Ott was particularly good defensively either. With this group of dmen and forward there is the potential to give up a rather large number of scoring chances.

Glennie is not making the team next year.
I think Benn will play with Whitney and Jagr.
...And those d-pairings are terrible. Fistric will not be on the 1st pairing.

I agree that it's unlikely but anything can happen.

It's fairly telling that Joe didn't even mention Glennie yesterday when talking about the kids.

Wow this is brilliant. We're going to have a competitive and entertaining team that will keep the casual fan interested. Then then the kids coming up the following year will have some much needed AHL time before being counted on in the new era. Great GM'ing here. Having an owner is boss

Flyers fan here and I come in peace. JJ was a good teammate and solid pro last year. Just make sure his minutes are watched. He ran out of steam for us in the playoffs and that was sad to see. But good luck next season. He still has hands of gold and will be fun to watch.
