Unfortunately, it's probably the same deal with the Rangers and Stepan, Kreider or McDonagh.
No deal if one isn't included.
reports have come out that howson has not demanded any of those players from the rangers....check the last thread for the tweets....dreger ripped portzline apart on twitter today quite comical

If that's the case, then what the heck is the hold up?
For some reason I'm confused, are you laughing cause you WOULD take that package, or because you think we'd be on the losing end of that deal?
he's likely laughing at it cause we are not trading Staal. If its Anisimov plus for Perron sure but to me STL is like the Rangers ,building with kids so I dont think we make a move with them
Take out Staal from any realistic proposal
As for the D if Stralman is back and IF Sauer is healthy they dont have to do anything really. Maybe sign a vet on a 2 way deal
McDonaugh, Girardi
Staal, Sauer
Del Zotto, Erixon
Stralman, Bickel
I think Bickel is going to be the 8th D and 14 th F type. They have 7 D even with Sauer a uncertaintly. Last I heard he is doing better and if there is a lockout I better he is ready to go all yr. If not Stralman can be a stop gap
NYR gets:
Perron- young, first line LW
Cole- defensive prospect
Rattie- RW prospect, Lead WHL in goals (I believe)
First rounder
What does Cole project to be? Didn't Perron miss most of a season with a concussion? Rattie is a little on the small side, about 160 pounds (according to hockeydb.com). Like the first rounder coming back. Staal, I'd be reluctant to move in that kind of deal. An interesting proposal, not sure if St. Louis would do it though. I'd probably lean against doing it, but I'd have to know more about the St. Louis players coming back. Would Sather do that deal? With Rattie and the number one pick coming back, he probably would. Perron hasn't had top line winger production though, most goals he's scored in 21.
