One of the best shows out there easily. He has total control over it too, they give him his budget money and he gives them the fully completed episode. He directs, writes, stars, and edits.

Finally got to see Moonrise Kingdom yesterday. We're only half-way through the year, but I don't think that one will be topped. Fantastic on every level, and one of the most subtly impactful endings I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. I'm not even a Wes Anderson fan, but man...that was something else.

My first reaction to this thread title was "what does Hecht-Briere-Dumont have to do with America?" Duh.

EDIT: and my first reaction to the post above me was thinking ECF stood for Eastern Conference Finals. I've got hockey on the brain.
