If it's between the devs and wild then I'm pissers cause the wild ****ing suck balls and will be worse with Parise shooting pucks at opposing goalies chests from outside the circles taking scoring opportunities from Danny manslaughter!!!!!
So Parise finally plays for a team that has playoff success after being frustrated for years with getting knocked out in early rounds. His solution is to sign with Minnesota when winning is one of his main priorities? He's either chasing money or just really ****ing stupid because he's going to have to start from scratch again to help build that team up to contender status.
Who really knows wtf is going on. Wouldn't surprise me in the least though if Suter and Parise were a package deal at this point.
“We’re not making money, and that’s one reason we need to fix our system. We need to fix how much we’re spending right now. [The Wild’s] revenues are fine. We’re down a little bit in attendance, but we’re up in sponsorships, we’re up in TV revenue. And so the revenue that we’re generating is not the issue as much as our expenses. And [the Wild’s] biggest expense by far is player salaries.”
I see what your saying, but how times has it been shown the impact of one player on is smaller than what fans and the media think. That is a big reason why a lotmofntimes teams that make that big fa signing from the outside tend to disappoint to expectations and teams that lose players can chug along.
Remember than second half run two seasons ago was entirely without Parise, and I would saynthe roster as a whole is stronger than then, even without him.
I thought that guy was unreliable according to Pittsburgh fans?
Where did you hear that?
From a freind who works in the insurance/finance industry. Could just mean the Devils are going elsewhere to insure the contract. Usually not the case though.
If he goes I think he instantly will become universally hated by our fanbase, much moreso than Gomez because he was disliked by many here to begin with (I for one couldn't wait for him to leave. I had my fill of his floating and disinterested grin.)
Also, besides one playoff run that came up short, we don't have a championship or huge goal or moment to hang our hats on with Zach.
It'll be interesting to be at the Rock for his first game back. Should be some amusing signs around.
