If he chooses Minny I hope a reporter calls him out after all the times he said he wants to win.
I don't think anybody would have the guts, but if they do, Parise knows how the media game works. He'd have a rationalisation ready to go.

Kind of convenient that before July 1st the Minny papers leak how much the Wild would pay Parise to intentionally put it in his head that whatever contract NJ has prepared for him is nothing compared to what he'd get in Minny. Time after time ZP tells us how much he wants to play here... and how he'd sign before July 1st if the right deal was reached... then comes the Minny leak and all of a sudden ZP waits til July 1st and now looks like he's going to sign in Minnesota. That's tampering.
Super convenient given the Devils financial state that this all happened and it's complete BS.

Cannot be 7 for 100. The cap hit would be over 14 mil per. You control the cap hit by the number of years. Front loading does not impact the cap hit. Front load impacts cash payout only.

It's the only way a charge of tampering would even go past initial stages with Bettman. Hell, it probably is tampering even if he still signs with NJ but he has to sign in MIN for anything to stick.
Don't think any will come of it but cause and effect...
Anyone think his agents would try to steer him away from Minny because of possible tampering charges? It's not like it affects them or its their fault, but it's a real mess if he does sign there, and I'm sure their client wouldn't be happy coming with bad news already.
