Wait, you're going to argue that Parise isn't better than 16 games of Latendresse?

Shawn Simpson @SSimpsonHockey
Tom Gilbert is best buddies with Suter, real friend. That was the reason Minny made the trade at the deadline.

Shawn Simpson ‏@SSimpsonHockey
Craig Leopold the current Minny owner, was the Preds owner when Suter was drafted, and started his career. @TEAM1200Ottawa

I'm excited for you guys. I've always loved your team. I met Mikko Koivu on multiple occasions... my favourite player in the league. It's a damn shame you have Heater on your team now.

If they sign here, will be 11 for Parise, 20 for Suter RT @RileyhBFG:

@Russostrib what number will Parise wear?

Um, I know that Gilbert is BFF's with Suter and all.. but I always thought Fletcher jumped at that trade because Tambellini bent over for Fletcher. You'd think the trade would be lopsided in Edmonton's favor if we were trying to get Gilbert in order to attract Suter.

Heater has been great here. We are not complaining one bit

Also, our owner came out and said that yes his production was down but they never knew how great of a leader he was when they made the trade. Heatley in the lockerroom has been a huge addition to the Wild

I didn't say he hasn't been.

My dad thought he heard on ESPN radio that Suter has already signed here.... I told him nothing has been reported yet he claims he heard that... lol My dad is crazy (jk lol) but he said he heard that... either way, all signs are pointing that it's a done deal!

If this backfires, it won't be pretty. Trying soooooooooo hard not to get the hopes up yet till it's in print. Even Russo is still using the word "if."

Odd though that what was suppose to be a decision on Thursday has been changed to today.

Hey guys, if the Wild were to acquire both players, how would you guys want the lines to shake out next season, and also could you include how you think they could shape up in a few years time when all those stellar prospects of yours develop?

Geez. Even the yahoo article (Puck Daddy) said they could still both sign in Detroit. That would be a dagger to the heart.
