Kings don't really have to worry about much, they are icing an entire Stanley Cup winning roster.
Penner is our "Ponikarosky" type, the Kings don't need to sign anyone else. Nolan, King, Richardson, Clifford and Westgarth are all subject to waivers. Kings must send at least one of them down, my guess is Westgarth.

Is Parise going to announce his decision in an hour long show on TSN about how he's going to take his talents to Hidden Beach?

And then is Suter going to sign there shortly after to join up with their bro Dany Heatley to win not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven...but multiple championships.

That team is awful even with Parise and Suter

I tend to beleive this. NHL.com said decision should be made today by both players and the "other" board listed a site that said Suter was going to the Wild as well.

The rumored Suter contract on the table is ridiculous. His career high in points is 46 and that's with Weber as his partner. He'll go back to being a 35-39 point defensemen this season but he'll be getting paid like he IS Weber.

So obviously, it did have more to do with money than to do with winning.

Remeber when everyone said that Zach would leave NJ after that Kovalchuk fiasco? And all of the NJ fans said it wouldn't hurt them at all?

Yeah, good times.

Detroit is screwed. They will now send too much money to Semin and Carle.

13-year deal. I can't believe it. Minnesota has no shot at the Cup.

What is he doing?

Wow, this is actually a solid roster now. Koivu's a legit #1 center, if Dany Heatley and Devin Setoguchi can go back to form, that can be a stanley cup contending team (on paper anyways lol)
