And with over 7.5 million free from the expiration of Cullen and Bouchard's contracts, they'll have a little more breathing room next year.

Next year, Backstrom, Cullen, and Bouchard will be off the books for $14m. We'll be fine.

We have a lot of expiring cap...no need to move Heatley.

In 9 years when his new 4-5 mil/year ends. Seriously sounds like he wants to stay, and I think we can get him at a decent price unless he explodes offensively again.

Oh ok nice I didn't realize this. Can Harding take over as number 1 for goaltending? I don't know him much

Harding will be a solid tandem guy for the next few years ($1.9m I think) but Hackett, Kuemper, and Gustavsson are all very promising prospects looking to be the #1 of the future. Hackett as a 20 year old took the minor league team full of nobodies to the Calder Cup last year. Looks bright!

Maybe not clear #1 but they have a good potential alternate in Hackett.

We don't need a poll. The gazillion green Suter and Parise jerseys they sell over the xmas ones will be enough of a poll.

edit:

I'm not even sure if they're even thinking about the xmas ones anymore.

Bouchard and granlund into same line? No...

Parise-Koivu-Bouchard
Heatley-Granlund-Setoguchi
Mitchell-Brodziak-Cullen/Coyle
Powe-Konopka-Clutterbuck/Cullen

Trade Cullen or Clutterbuck or maybe both for defenseman.

Second this (well not the oil fan part). As one of the few American markets that gives a crap about the game, its good the minny fans are getting rewarded

It's great that you are excited Wild fans. I remember before this Cup winning season, how us Kings fans were excited too, after acquiring Richards and Gagne. It wasn't a great season, but it was all worth it in the PO.
