Also: all I know is if I have to spend the next 12 months reading posts by the Sens HF Brian Lee Memorial Army comparing Lee and Lundin all frigging year, it's going to get REAL old, REAL fast.

At some point, we have to let this thing go.

I get that we're supposed to be a rebuilding team. I get the idea of moving out underachieving players from the old regime to replace them with murray guys who might work out.

But what the **** was wrong with brian lee again?
He couldn't hold the blueline or stop a forward from going from the boards to the net to save his life.

Sunscreen lotion sales have gone down 40% in the Ottawa region since Brian Lee's departure, Murray didn't factor in local economy in his decision.

I liked Brian Lee I thought he had potential if he was given a vote of confidence and allowed to find his NHL game.
There were rumblings that he asked Bryan Murray during the year to be traded to an American team. Don't blame the guy he was a healthy scratch for 20-30 games without getting a chance to prove himself.

I hope he finds a home in Tampa.

NO! STOP. Forget this. These words Brian and Lee should never be uttered again.

I love the revisionist history that comes with Brian.

You know, the poor hard done by defenceman who staunchly went about his business with class in spite of never getting a fair shake from our biased and cruel organization. Now that he's away from our stiffing management he'll be able to blossom into the player he was always meant to be... Right?

Ok, let me get this started:

They are both from Minnesota, USA
Both are around 6'2" and 200 pds
Neither puts up much offense,
Lundin go 1 point in the WC
Lee got 1 point in the WJC
Both start their last names with the letter "L", but that's were the similarities end (name wise).

Lee is a Right hand shot, Lundin a left,
Lundin is 2.5 years older, and was drafted 93 spots later, but one year earlier.
Brian Lee is an albino, while Lundin still has some colour from the sun in TB
A bear one ate Lee's cousin, where as with Lundin it was a mountain lion (need source)

That just about covers it I think; need to go any further.
