Clowe for Booth, but Vancouver has the option to swap 1sts with San Jose next year. Geez some Canucks fans fold quickly.

Clowe is exactly what we need. He had a down year so we could get him on the cheap. I'm down for Clowe for Booth.

When we have the chance to acquire a player that would greatly improve are team, than yes we "fold to fast" Ask any other Canucks fan Clowe would bemore valuable to the team then Booth.

Booth just had an injury this year, but he should be good for about 25 goals. He's younger, and doesn't play as rough a game(two-way sword, since his shelf life is longer.) I'm not sold on Clowe, and seeing as the poster offered a pick, why not take it?

No he wouldn't.

He's slow in transition, he isn't as physical as he used to be, he isn't reliable defensively.

His speed is a major issue for a slow(er) team like San Jose...imagine him trying to keep up with Kesler.

Not a big fan of Clowes footspeed. Since he really wouldn't be stepping into Burrows' role on the top line, he would need to be able to keep up to Kesler, which I highly doubt he can.

Yeah, why trade someone who could potentially be Ryane Clowe for Ryane Clowe?

His potential is higher than Clowe, whether he reaches it is a guess.

Kassian also has some attributes Clowe does not.

Kassian is a good skater which is important to our system.
Kassian is on his ELC, it gives us great flexibility.
Kassian is an RFA afterwards, he'll be part of the new core.
