Granlund vs Brossoit

Who is the better prospect. It's too close between them in the other thread.

I don't think either of them should be number 9 but went with Brossoit.

Went with Granlund, so much depth in goal that Granlunds importance as a skilled player is more than that of a goaltender.

Thing about Granlund is I don't think he is that great until he proves himself. This will be the year he needs to without his brother on the team.

granlund undoubtedly has the higher ceiling, so i took him. i feel like brossoit has the better chance to reach his full potential in the nhl, however.

Really?

Brossoit has all the tools to be a starting goaltender in the NHL.
Markus has the potential to be a good 2nd line center.

I know who I would take if both were to hit their full potential.

Granlund is now up 1 in this and up 1 in the #9 poll, so on to #10?

Im confused. Ferland has the same amount of votes as Brossoit... Why is he not a third option. Seems like your giving him the short end of the stick.

Yeah, I like Ferland more than these two at this point. With that said, we can only pick one.

At the time this one was started, Brossoit and Granlund were tied, with Ferland behind them. Since the other poll didn't get closed, people have kept voting on it, which now has Granlund having the lead and Ferland in a tie w/ Brossoit.

Yeah, mistake on my part on not including Ferland. Granlund has separated himself on the main poll (by a whole two votes).

I don't disagree, but with the organizational depth or lack there of in our squad of skilled players Granlund is especially valuable.

Plus, only one goalie plays on a given night, whereas 12 forwards do, so the probability of Granlund seeing the light of day in an NHL jersey far out weighs that of Brossiot. And when I am comparing their prospects as prospects I factor in actually contributing in whatever capacity at the NHL greatly.

Wait, so just because we have more goaltenders means that Granlund is the better prospect? That doesn't make sense.
