Oh boy.. He's taking the Asham approach at trying every Atlantic team I guess.

Not happy to see a good guy and hard worker go to the Flyers. He's a broken player now, though.

Depth signing that has a knack of winning cups. Come on Rusty get number 3 back in Philly.

Glad the Rangers passed him up for Pyatt, but this is still a decent signing for Philly. Has lost a step in his skating, but he's still very strong on the boards, a great PKer, and is clutch in the playoffs. He was awesome in the Devils series for the Rangers.

Hey but you're pretty much right anyway. 1 team away to being done!

That seems rich. I don't think it will be crippling by any means, but that's a lot for what he brings.

We said that about Talbot, too. We'll see. Hopefully it's good.

Fedotenko's still capable of playing some tough minutes at least, just not all that effectively. Takes pressure off someone younger. Could do worse for the money, i guess. Cheers.

Yep. He's decent in reg season at this point in his career. He's money in the playoffs though. Clutch 3rd/4th liner in the playoffs.

Would have preferred McClement or Moore as a bottom-6 forward, but hey, not bad. Are the Flyers done, outside of re-signing Voracek and Bourdon?

Another player back to an old team. This has been the summer for that, apparently.

I like the signing. Not too bad of a price for what he brings. Still an effective bottom 6 player.

Meh. Not sure why we sign him. Decent bottom 6 player I guess. My gut says that Homer is preparing for a trade.

Welcome back Rusty!

Good pick up. Experience should help steady so many young players in the line up.

I don't hate it, but I question why he got a raise. Looks like he was a good secondary defensive forward for the Rangers, third unit PK

Combination of the market being completely out of proportion and his playoff finish, most likely.

I copy what I wrote in the Bruno Gervais to Philly thread.

Jagr, Carle, JVR leaves in comes Schenn, Gervais, Fedotenko. Seems like a huge drop in offense. A trade coming?
