Was thinking as I watched "Didn't we lose 4 straight after that goal?"
Or was that the year we won 1 more game 1-0 (Primeau!)

meh serviceable guy...always liked him..hard worker just that players like him (age, game) tend to fall off a cliff and their added value becomes almost zilch..like Shelley! Hopefully not the case with Rusty....

So when will we sign Brent Fedyk?

As I noted in a previous thread...Flyers must lead the league in recycled players....

Fine, whatever. If this is the price of not blowing up the team in a lean year, I'm all for it.

i'm down with Rosie Cheeks. 3rd line guy and you can use him up and down the line up. 20-30 point guy.

Warmups. The puck rolled to him from centre ice.

He scored 20 goals once in his career and that was the year after the lockout in 2005 when scoring spiked league wide. If you're banking on more than 10-12 goals you'll probably be let down.

That being said, this is still a good move for a solid 2 way veteran who can play in a lot of different situations.

This one certainly came out of left field ? Never heard his name mentioned anywhere....But having said that, i have no problem with this deal.He is one player i always kept my eye on whenever the Flyers played the Rangers....He is crafty and has a pretty sneaky shot.

Yeah I may have overestimated his stats without doing some research. Thought he was a consistent 20 goal guy. Still a good signing, though there are others I would have preferred.

Don't mind this signing. Decent veteran guy with cup experience for the 3rd line and his cap hit is manageable.

Hearing what a few Ranger fans had to say, I'm pleased we picked him up. Solid character guy and reminds me of the Talbot signing (except term), if we could clone Talbot and just roll 3 Talbots on the 4th line that would be unreal. Need more character guys!

From a Rangers fan. Good player--very good pk'er. A little pricey though. We paid him 1 mil the first year and 1.3 mil the second. That's more in line.

Anyway keep on beating up on the Penguins.

I like it. It gives us a decent veteran presence.

Fedetenko was without a stick and gave up his body multiple times to block shots during a 5-on-3 in the playoffs against the Devils (or was it the Caps?), if I remember correctly. I love this signing.
