Jagr, Carle, JVR leaves in comes Schenn, Gervais, Fedotenko. Seems like a huge drop in offense. A trade coming?

To be fair, offense was never a problem in Philadelphia. It was defense. Hopefully Schenn can bounce back and attribute to fixing that problem as well as Fedotenko.

Not a blockbuster really, but good player for a fair price, was pretty decent in PO last year... Will add experience to the bottom 6.

No I know, and I agree with you. That's still alot of points going missing though IMO.

at the very least it prevents him from scoring against us so i'm ok with it.

seriously though he's a solid 3rd/4th liner. overall, good depth move

Good luck to Feds in Philly, like Prospal last year it was time to move on. Hope he tears it up against everyone but the Rangers, good guy.

hopefully some of last years rookies can pick up some of the slack. if that happens and Bryz steps up they'll be fine imo. but i'm sure they'll still being looking at doan if available or even semin.

Hate to see him back with the Flyers after the amount of respect I've gained for him over the last two years. He's a terrific role player. Wish the Rangers had held on to him.

Good signing for Philly, imo. Very hard working. Always been underrated. Good bottom 6 winger.

He's not worth $600K. I hate this signing.

Man, Fedadeko is still in the NHL? I would've thought he'd go get 3 mil or so in the Kontinental.

What's to hate about Rusty? The guy busts it night in and night out and comes to play in the playoffs too. He is a great depth forward with a cap hit that is more than manageable.

He also has killed us since he left. I'd rather see him wearing our colors than any other team playing against us. He has a nose for the dirty areas and is far from a defensive liablility.

He had those offers, but he wanted to stay in the NHL.

Moments after the news came down, he was headed into CBA negotiating sessions.

You must be thinking about the Ruslan Fedotenko that played on Pittsburgh or Tampa Bay (first time). He's crap now. Not exactly someone that I find replacement value in for Jaromir Jagr. Horrible signing.

he's crap now? really? he looked pretty damn solid for the Rangers in the playoffs just a couple months ago. and i think their fans would agree with that. try watching some hockey sometime. he's not supposed to be Jagr's replacement either. he'll be on the 3rd line with Couturier, not on the 1st with Giroux. Voracek will likely be playing there.

Agreed. Wish the Rangers would have held on to him, if not for the bottom six, then he damn sure wouldn't hurt you as an extra forward spotting in for injuries. Underrated PKer too.

if Fedotenko's name was John Johnson and he was from Welland, Ontario, Don Cherry would devote 3 minutes of coach's corner to him and why you "win championships with guys like this", but since his name is Federmatankovich, we won't ever know what he brings to the table.

If you don't have Moore yet just wait a few weeks. Look fast, though.
