Nope. Just for future reference, our needs are firstly an established top pairing left handed defenseman, preferably a stay-at-home type, and an elite goal scoring winger.

Going off the need for a winger according to NYR fans...

Paul Stastny
David Jones
Col 2013 2nd Round

for

Marc Stall
Brandon Dubinsky

I don't know if this is good value or not...and I don't think we would trade Jones, but this would be the best proposal I could think of that fills both teams needs somewhat.

If Stastny, 1st, and Elliot are going to Toronto, then Kessel would have to be coming back.

Meh.

Dubinsky </> Jones.

Stastny fills no big need for us we need highscoring wingers. And Staal plays an integral role on our team.

Landeskog + 1st

for

Staal + 2nd `?

And the Rangers need another center.....why? They already have a solid quartet in Richards, Stepan, Dubinsky and Boyle.

I really don't watch the rangers at all so this may be wrong as far as valuation.
Rangers don't need a center. So frankly based off need I wouldn't trade McDonagh straight up for this package. I'm not saying the value isn't fair. I'm just saying off need.

Stastny+2nd for Staal?
Again, I wouldn't do it, since Rangers don't need a center. They need wings.

Of course neither team does it, but I do believe the value is there.

Is McDonagh untouchable?
I wouldn't do McDonagh for Duchene/Landeskog straight up, let's put it that way.
