I mean a huge backer of despres I think the kid is going to be the truth. Seeing his skills at st.johns. made me almost as excited as I was about letang. I'm not saying he's gonna be as good as letang. But not many are in this league.imo. it would be a tough pill for me to swallow personally cause I'm really pullin for the kid to be bigtime here. However that package I could live with for nash. Nash is a special player dieing alive in columbus.lol. seriously that place is not doing him any justice. Only way you make that deal tho is if your certain morrow is ready and you have a viable option to aquire a top 4 vet to pair with nisky. Does columbus have any dmen that would be lost in the shuffle they may be willing to throw back our way. I.e. niskanen in the gogo deal.

I don't know, but we were talking about Weber with that package not Nash.

Would give up just about anything thats not in our roster currently for Weber, probably a lot of what is in our roster currently to. Guy is a beast. Best Dman in the league. If we could pair him with Letang it would be sick as hell. The Preds are already the deepest in terms of D prospects in the league so its more likely theyd want a current player or 2 involved.

If he truly believed Suter would not have resigned, he probably would have, he did trad Hamhuis' rights. But I don't think he ever got a clear answer from Suter and like I said, put too much trust into the guy.

Are you serious if you want Kennedy and Domoulin it's gonna have to be Malone plus one of your good d's.

Malone's last 2 seasons were the best points per game of his career. His problem is staying healthy. He misses 10-15 games a year.

Hemsky just signed a new 2 year deal. Doubt he's on the trade market right now.

He didn't know Suter planned to leave, and their team was in a genuine cup contending position. You can't blame him for that.

no, unless it happens again. But I don't really know their whole situation. I just know it would be a very very big mistake to let both get away like that.

why wouldn't he go to the FA market then if he knew he was still going to be trade bait with no control over where he ends up?

Only thing I've read is from Weber's agents saying there is no timetable on this and they are going to wait and see how this plays out while Poile is looking to sign him long term. Maybe in the end he leaves, but I think we'll have to wait and see for more than just 24 hours after Suter left.

That play makes me want him in a pens jersey and doing that to giroux instead of zetterberg.
