Per Renaud Lavoie, Andrew Murray who played with San Jose last season, has signed with St. Louis to a 1 year 2-way deal worth $600,000 at the NHL level.
Don't see much room on the Blues for Murray with Nichol re-signing already. He could make the team but I'd bet he's Peoria material. However, Sharks fans thought he played pretty well last year before he was surprisingly sent down.

He was a fun college player to watch. He had a lower body injury his Junior year and hasn't had the same explosiveness since. Best of luck to him.
I'd heard that was a possibility, makes sense. Mancari originally left because he felt Buffalo weren't giving him a real shot at the NHL. After 6 pointless games with Vancouver, I guess he realized it was better the devil you know than the one you don't.
Kings sign Andre Bodnarchuk who has been in the Boston organization the last few seasons. Bodnarchuk, 24, played last season with Providence of the AHL. He has 5 career NHL games all with the Bruins and was a 5th round pick 128th overall in 2006.

Can't blame him for thinking he could get a shot elsewhere. He'll be a very good fit with Rochester.
Generally weekends in the summer are dead zones for news, but here's s small signing.
Quote:
- The Washington Capitals have signed center Ryan Stoa to a one-year contract, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today. In keeping with club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stoa, 25, collected 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists) and 65 penalty minutes in 75 games with Lake Erie of the American Hockey League (AHL) last season. He finished the season ranked tied for third on the team in points and goals and sixth in assists.
Stoa might turn into something in his mid-20s (big guys take a while to put it together at times) but for now he's AHL. Avs gave him some chances but he was always a bit useless. Size but not being able to do anything in the NHL. His AHL pt totals are also scewed in a bad way cos he had like 0 pts in the first 12 games. He also might be the reason why Colorado's traded for and also drafted a tonne of small undersized CHL fwds lately.
Apparently Stoa was Ryan Potulny's linemate for the former's freshman season at the University of Minnesota, so maybe the Caps are planning on seeing if there's chemistry at the AHL level.
