A lot of you folks are high on Brodin it seems. Does he have a nickname yet? Houdini + Brodin = Brodini

Oh, and congrats to Falk on the contract. =)

Considering that you live in Sipoo, you should be able to pull off that Swedish accent quite well...

It would be awesome jersey though.

i think brodin will either earn a spot or go back to sweden, larsson said he would go to NA with out hesitation. I don't believe brodin feels the same way tho. However, maybe larsson and brodin will do the new experience together, who knows.

anyway quick thought on this signing, i see it more as a backup plan to a trade of stoner/prosser. If brodin does take a spot(which i believe he will)then one of these two have to go, and tbh i wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a battle between stoner and falk for the spot.

falk is already better than Prosser IMO and is far more interesting as far as development possibilities go. Love Prosser's attitude on the ice but ******* is that guy sloppy.

Will say this: Falk on a one-way is a lot better with Ryan Suter than Falk on a one-way without him. Wouldn't be surprised to see some depth moves but at the same time, there is just that for once: depth.

Right up against it. About a million under. However, next year we have $19 million open back up.

Oh yeah. Next summer will be good. I just thought we were under a million before signing Falk.

I've got us at $1.354m after Falk. Doesn't take into account the bonus cushion (because I never bothered to learn those rules).

It's funny. We could be $10-$12 million under the cap next year, even with almost $30 million tied up in 4 players.
