Honestly, I'd rather just bite it this season and not sign anyone, aside from an outside chance at Doan on a short contract. Next year the FA crop looks a lot deeper. While a lot of them will get extensions, I'd rather just re-sign Sykora this season and save the money for then.
Iginla and Hartnell would be great additions. Scotty will definitely be getting a pay raise though. Depending on Clarkson's year I could see him as a good replacement.

If it's the same guy running that thing that I think it is, it's almost definitely not true then. Or if it is true, they have no way of knowing it.

I like them on facebook and they have been pumping rumor tweets all day, but none of their sources seem that reliable. Mostly the same stuff that was posted earlier by Ekuland and someone else.
I think there might be a little fire around all this smoke with at least an inquiry of interest, but no one really knows because the good sources have been dead silent on this. Wait and see.

Yeah you were/are a General right? I feel like the twitter account is getting a bit into yellow journalism territory these days. Seems pretty confident in a Semin signing though (although it's saying a 2-3 year offer is on the table which I can't believe he'd sign).

Seems you guys have more of an idea about their blog. This just posted on facebook. I am really not buying a 2-3 year deal (though I'd do a tap dance if it was true). No other news to go on.
