Even if he ends up playing in Buffalo at some point instead of Rochester, I'm down with that. I can't bring myself to dislike players that show strong work ethic like that.
Yeah, Ellis works like a dog and sets a fine example for everyone around him. Ruff loves him, so Porter is going to have to have one helluva good camp to unseat the Ellis Pokemon.

I hope he goes to Rochester. Sounds like he could be alright in the AHL.

Reminds me of when Phillipe Dupuis was signed by Toronto

Blues fan here. Porter is fast, strong on his skates and a tenacious forechecker( and, IMO a good penalty killer). He is not without some offensive skills. I enjoyed watching him play

Yeah...those were the days back at Michigan....

Nah he's not that bad, but there is a reason he wasn't playing much on the Avs, some games you'd think he had it, others you finally realized he didn't have it...and he doesn't

He is an OK player like others have said. I wish him the best.

Next to George Parros, he grows probably one of the best NHL mustaches too...

Must be a Rochester signing. We have too many good 4th line wingers as it is, at least inasmuch 4th line wingers can be good.

Pretty sure you're thinking about Chris Porter.

Because Chris Porter actually played for the Blues. Kevin Porter did not. Otherwise I'm not quite sure why a Blues fan is chiming in here...
