Cowherd ripping on the Preds

Just said (about 20 minutes ago) that the team should be eliminated based on the fact he's never seen a preds jersey the two times he visited Nashville.

Good job ESPN, good job.

Who cares about Cowherd's opinion on anything? Dude's a buffoon.

And why are you voluntarily listening to him? Toughing yourself up in the event you get tortured?

coward would not recognize a Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Black hawks jersey if he saw one. That guy knows nothing about hockey and is always bashing the NHL. He can DIAFAT.

You mean he actually stopped talking about the Lakers? Cowherd is a clown.

I was in New York and Boston for an entire week in June. I never saw anyone with any Knicks or Celtics gear on. Maybe we should eliminate those teams.

Actually I don't think of hiim as a sports reporter, he's like the E! News guy for ESPN.

He was probably here last Saturday.

I was downtown Nashville Saturday and didn't see a single Predators jersey but I did see a few Titans and SEC jersey's.

Not mentioning that it was 109 here...

This. Sportsnation isn't a sports show it's a hollywood entertainment show just based in the sports world.

Dude has always been garbage. I used to hear his radio show before he got famous. He got famous by yelling screaming and spewing ignorant and arrogant opinions. As someone said he doesn't know jack about hockey and he makes it known without a doubt he doesn't care too either.

Dude hates hockey anyway, who care.

If you listen to him for more than a week you'll hear him contradict himself regularly.

Dude is a master troll.

This, Cowherd is a big buffoon. Many better choices to listen to on the radio.

Absolutely. I hate radio hosts who get all pissy and hang up on call-ins when they disagree. He thinks my way or the highway. Oh...and the NBA sucks.

I literally laughed when I saw the title of this thread. I couldn't wait to read what words of wisdom he must have said.

It's the typical "It's hot, therefore nobody likes hockey there" attitude

I can't believe Cowherd is even mentioning sports that aren't football. When his show replaced the Kornheiser show, he stated many times that he would be very happy if every sport other than football were to disappear forever and all he had to talk about 24/7/365 was football.

So his opinion on Hockey and the Preds is not very relevant to me.

Cowherd is terrible. Limited overall sports knowledge, narrowly focused topics (NFL, Tiger, Kobe and Lebron most of the time) and parrots the same opinion over and over and over again, as though simply repeating his usually flawed premise enough times will make it true. I'm so thankful I have XM Radio so I don't have listen to tools like him anymore.

Probably won't see too many Hawks jerseys in Chicago this time of year either or even Leafs jerseys in Toronto for that matter it's 96 deg there. Goofball!!! His eye candy partner is the only reason he's relavent.

ESPN is becoming more and more irrelevant by the minute. NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, and many college conferences have their own networks these days. ESPN still has the reputation of being the "go-to" sports network because it's synonymous with sports.....for now. Yeah you'll always find it on at sports bars and stuff but the bottom line is ESPN is an increasingly vague and generic sports coverage network that focuses on big markets and bandwagon/casual storylines. The only thing they do well is their coverage of EPL/international soccer. That's about it.

And they employ Skip Bayless. Nuff said.
