Hang on. I never said he wasn't coming back because he was unhappy. It's about opportunity in this instance.

That's irrelevant. It has nothing to do with being unhappy.

I'm not going to kill the guy for trying... geez.

Would he not have to clear OHL waivers?

Wait and see? Cumberland and Gloucester fighting for first draft pick . Big three to watch probably PK CP and Nepean. The rest will fill in the rest. Really too early to judge untill probably late September.

Add Maclean and Blasko at F, Anderson on D. and new goalies in both Pemby and CP.

This promising young player enjoys the benefit of a professional and connected advisor...his father. I am confident his lawyer / agent father will look after his son's best interests.

I don't understand why people are already writing off Gloucester and Cumberland.. or making predictions in the first place for this reason.

CP's is Tony Kujava, a 20 year old who put up terrific numbers in back to back seasons in the NAHL (Janesville, Wisconsin). Will have to wait and see what he can do here though.

And scouted. A circus clown could do a better job of finding quality hockey plays than the scouts in Cumberland. Finding and signing.

Because nothing is finalized.

Coaching is a fair enough answer I guess. I personally won't make any predictions until September.. just me, though.

I agree. However, I "predict" that won't happen.

Stopped in at Kemptville camp, they have 6 teams, seen kids from Stanstead, Lake Forest, NSA...lots of Americans. Lots of size and good quality. Sure looks like they will be better.

That is good to hear. A competitive team in Kemptville this year would be a very good thing. It would also be good if all CCHL clubs had this level of activity. Scouting, recruiting and signing is the key now.

Not to burst anyones bubble....but any kids that are left now that have not been signed...usually are not real impact players....

Top end players are signed early....then the left over USHL cuts in Sept are the ones that are good....that is why Pembroke Nepean Cornwall CP are always good with recruites....

But for leagues sake lets hope their are some good players coming to late camps...makes league better
