Flyers' 2012 Complete Preseason Schedule (Rookie Game: Sept. 20 @ Caps, 3:00 p.m.)

The schedule below is now complete.

http://flyers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?...id=DL|PHI|home

Quote:
The Flyers will play three of their exhibition games at the Wells Fargo Center, while playing a fourth game as the home team on Sept. 26 at the Global Spectrum-managed John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, the home of the OHLís London Knights. The Flyers will make a preseason visit to London for the ninth straight year and will take on the Maple Leafs there for the third time.

Prior to the start of main training camp, the Flyers will hold a four-day rookie camp that starts on Sunday, September 16 and culminates with a Rookie Game exhibition in Washington against the Capitals at 3pm on September 20. Further information on that game will be released later this summer.

Blackhawks on the 6th? We starting with them for the season opener? Or is the preseason running late?

The dates listed in the first post are all preseason games. When the remainder of the preseason schedule is published, dates in between September 26 and October 6 will be utilized.

Just the way the calendar works this year.

Blackhawks, eh? Well, that's a new one.

I know the Rangers play the Kings in LA at Staples at the end of pre-season, so I assume we're not playing them this year, and they're starting out west.

Wonder if NBC will want opening night to be Flyers/Kings

One or both. My guess is the schedule will be released next week. The last two years, it was publicized in early July.

They could be releasing TV/radio info, too, but no guarantee of that.

When it's the only chance you have to see the boys play every year...you pay it. Haven't missed one in London.

True, but it's a perfectly sized rink and a lot cheaper than the ACC.

Keep an eye out for banana wielding fans....

Not to mar the city and fanbase of London (since we're perceived as angels here in Philly ), just don't want any more ugly incidents

you're better off just flying to Philly during the season to catch a game. At least you'll be paying to see an entire NHL caliber line-up and not one mashed together with AHLers/prospects

That's likely part of the info to be released later this summer. But I am pretty sure tickets are free (or were in the past when the Flyers hosted).

Is it possible for Pronger to get a test game in if he starts feeling better?

He'd have to receive medical clearance but based on Holmgren's comments about a month ago, that would be overly optimistic at this stage.
