Brodeur went 24-3-1 with a 2.31 goals-against average, .900 save percentage and four shutouts with Shattuck in 2011-12.

That's pretty serious considering the competition that they play at Shattuck.

All that said, I could DEFINITELY see the Rags take him as sort of a trolling-payback for taking Matteau even though they didn't want the kid.

well I doubt Marty coach a junior team and demand his son go fight another goalie... so I think it would work out miles better in that regard.

Depends on who he's fighting. Emery would kick his ass, DiPietro would go down with an injury after one punch, and Bryzgalov would talk him down by philosophising with him about the universe.
