Poor guy, nobody here (except the Swedes) seems to know that VICTOR Crus Rydberg actually has a first name... :p

I don't post very well, but here's mine

1. Nathan MacKinnon (CAN) Halifax Mooseheads, LHJMQ
2. Seth Jones (USA) Portland Winterhawks, WHL
3. Sean Monahan (CAN) Ottawa 67s, OHL
4. Hunter Shinkaruk (CAN) Medicine Hat Tigers, WHL
5. Aleksander Barkov (FIN) Tappara, SM-Liiga
6. Valeri Nichushkin (RUS) Belie Medvedi Chelyabinsk, MH
7. Rasmus Ristolainen (FIN) TPS, SM-Liiga
8. Elias Lindholm (SWE) Brynas, SEL
9. Ryan Pulock (CAN) Brandon Wheat Kings, WHL
10. Curtis Lazar (CAN) Edmonton Oil Kings, WHL
11. Kerby Rychel (CAN) Windsor Spitfires, OHL
12. Jonathan Drouin (CAN) Halifax Mooseheads, LHJMQ
13. Robert Hägg (SWE) MODO, SEL
14. Max Domi (CAN) London Knights, OHL
15. Bo Horvat (CAN) London Knights, OHL
16. Eric Comrie (CAN) Tri-City Americans, WHL
17. Adam Erne (USA) Quebec Remparts, LHJMQ
18. Alex Forsberg (CAN) Prince George Cougars, WHL
19. Eric Roy (CAN) Brandon Wheat Kings, WHL
20. Morgan Klimchuk (CAN) Regina Pats, WHL
21. Nick Sörensen (SWE) Quebec Remparts, LHJMQ
22. J.T. Compher (USA) USNTDP, USHL
23. Zach Fucale (CAN) Halifax Mooseheads, LHJMQ
24. Josh Morrissey (CAN) Prince Albert Raiders, WHL
25. Andre Burakovsky (SWE) Malmö, SEL
26. Steve Santini (USA) USNTDP, USHL
27. Stephen Harper (CAN) Erie Otters, OHL
28. Tyler Motte (USA) USNTDP, USHL
29. Anthony Duclair (CAN) Quebec Remparts, LHJMQ
30. Nick Baptiste (CAN) Sudbury Wolves, OHL

1. We have 6 elite player potential (concession player) :

Mackinnon - Jones - Monahan - Shinkaruk - Barkov - Nichushkin

2. Like this year, we have a battle between Jones and Mackinnon for the first overall and some think that the team who's pick first will pick what they need... its false. You must pick Mackinnon, like Yakupov this year.

3. Elias Lindholm is a elite player potential, but just because he plays in Europe, he'll drop some ranks like Filip Forsberg. It's the reason why I put Shinkaruk over Barkov and Nichushkin.

4. I love Lazar's upside... but he's a kind of grinder... I don't think he has a huge offensif upside in the NHL... remind me a little bit Evander Kane, but this year, we have a lot of 1 PPG NHL potentiel

Good post. I'm not sure if I'd put Shinkaruk in the "elite" potential. He's really good, but he's small, and lets just see how he does without Etem. He's an elite junior, but will it translate into an elite NHL'r, not 100% sure of that yet

Anyone got more info on this Yakimov kid. His pretty big guy list at 6'4 200lbs. Is he talented enough to make the NHL and is he coming over to play in the CHL?

For what it’s worth, The Hockey News had Jones ahead of MacKinnon in their Draft Preview.

I haven’t seen the B and C lists yet either, would be nice to know who they have on their lists.

Hockeyprospect has Fucale as an honourable mention after their top-30, McKeen’s has him at 31th and ISS has a separate list for goalies.

WU18C’s might be a possible reason for Barkov being slightly lower on some lists. After all he was recovering from mononucleosis and didn’t perform at his best. It’s also a fact that he needs to work on his skating, and guys like MacKinnon and Jones are definitely ahead of him in that aspect.

4. Artturi Lehkonen - KalPa (5´10 / 152)

9. Kevin Lankinen - Jokerit (5´11 / 163)
10. Atte Mäkinen - Tappara (6´3 / 205)
After Barkov and Ristolainen things seem fairly unpredictable, and that’s often the case when the draft is still 12 months away. Will be interesting to see how these guys develop next season. In my opinion Mäkinen should be a bit higher on that list at this point. He has a NHL frame and might develop into a pretty good shutdown defenseman. Some of the guys above him might be projected as Euro-league players unless they grow some height.

I think Drouin is going to move up people's lists simply because I'm sure a lot believe that Drouin's playoff numbers were a result of playing with MacKinnon.
Drouin was regularly the best player on the ice, and once he adds some strength, he's going to be an absolute beast.

Who's Seth Jones comparable to does he have a mean streak like Probger, I know he's a freak physically but I hope he's not the next Erik Johnson.

Prediction:

Drouin, Fucale and Domi will all rise up the rankings and be in top 15 consideration come draft night. This draft is going to be so fun - I honestly believe players in the 15-20 range would be top 8 picks in other years.

Whatever happened to Nick Sorensen? Wasn't he highly touted too?

Blew out his knee. Missed the majority of the year. Projected as a mid-late 1st rounder before that. We'll have to see how he rebounds.

With better chances, I think/hope Horvat will be solidly in the first round.

Woohoo! So I'm not the only Moose crazed nut out there (you too Marc habs fan and bigdirty) jk...

But seriously I thought I sounded like a broken record so I stopped, but i'll go again. I totally agree. Drouin has everything Nate has except the speed. Albeit that's a big factor in MacKinnon's game but Drouin played well beyond his years.

If that playoffs was a sign of what he'll do this season, he'll easily be a top 15 pick... Even tho I alrady have him there...

And same with Fucale. At this point it can't be anyone but Fucale as #1 goalie. Calm beyond his years, makes amazing saves, played 72 consecutive games and stood on his head on occasion in the playoffs. I was very surprised a 16yo goalie (and our other 16yo's) did not run out of gas. Fucale still had some in the tank and gave it his all, which, from me,will easily give him the nod for best goalie and a 1st rounder next year hopefully.

I like watching Duclair, Erne and Drouin tho. All seem to have equal talent and would be top 20 picks in my eyes. Q will currently be an exciting place to be compared to previous years in terms of the draft!

Hunter Shinkaruk most likely will go first overall. He's just too good to pass up.

Yeah, Drouin is going to make his way into the top 10, top 15 at the very worst.
While Duclaire will fall to bottom of 1st or early second.

It's going to be such a great year for us draft junkies. The QMJHL will have so many scouts since it seems to be our year: MacKinnon, Drouin, Fucale, Morin, Carrier, Duclair, Erne, Sorensen, Graham, Grégoire, Gauthier, Deslauriers, De Luca, Desrosiers, Bélanger, Mantha, Shea, Murphy…

I believe Jonathan Drouin could go top 5 if he grows a few inches and plays over a PPG. He's still sometimes a defensive liability but is a magician with the puck in the offensive zone. Very cerebral game and not a bad skater. Definitely a Huberdeau's case to look out for.
