Out of all the moments this city has thrown at the fans, in this incredibly historic franchise.. this Eller moment is the one that sticks out in your mind? Uh, ok.
If only AK46 would've shown more often that he could be that brilliant as he's been in assisting Eller's 3rd goal...
Feels good to have Eller back.
Kostitsyn deserved some criticism for his play but it was overblown by many. He played very well on the RW with Eller and Moen then he was moved to another line. That still baffles me. AK was never going to be the guy that carried a line but he proved he could be an asset if used in the right way

Uh, ok. 'cause I CLEARLY said THE BEST MOMENT EVER.....As far as I'm concerned, nobody here is 100 years old. And also, I'm probably older than most of the people here. Yet, a 4-goal performance, with the way he did, and the celebration at the end, will be remembered as one of the best moments ever. Where? Top 20? Top 30? Top 50? Top 100? Don't know. But as far as moments that most of the people witnessed? Yes, it will be up there.
Love Eller and can't understand why some people picture him in the future as a good 3rd line center. I think he could already be a decent 2nd line center at 23.

It's the cynical "Habs" user. Don't bother.
I agree. I got chills when he skated out there for the 1st star celebration. It was something else.

Nothing wrong with a good 3rd line center, I think Eller could be a great one.
I also think he could turn out to be a great 2nd line center.

Hey I am old enough to have watched
Ken Dryden come out of nowhere and lead the Habs to a cup
Jean Beliveau play his final game for the Habs
Larry Robinson beat down the Flyers' biggest goon
Four straight Stanley Cups
Guy Lafleur score magic goals on the Bruins
Patrick Roy carry the Habs on his rookie back to a Cup
Patrick Roy rule OT on the way to another Cup
etc
And I can understand what he is saying. Seeing Eller line up for that penalty shot and then scoring on that hilarious play was a great moment that will live forever in my memory. It is not a significant event in Habs history (like my list above) but as a pure, joyous memorable moment it is right up there.
My first live Habs game at the Forum, Mark Napier scored two goals in the first minute of the game. Maybe not as significant as lots of other things but I will remember that moment of jumping up and screaming along with 18,000 others forever.
Love Lars Eller. After Plekanec my favourite Hab. He is going to be really really good.

He's a decent 3rd line center now, but if a guy who's career high is 28pts becomes our 2nd line center this year.. we're in real big trouble. IMHO, if he tops 40-45pts centering the third line with some PP time then give him a promotion to the 2nd line after next season. Hopefully earns himself some more ice-time by the end of the year.

Guys like Bolland and Staal played 3rd line C while being integral parts of their teams' Stanley Cup championships. I consider someone like Hanzal a great 3rd line C as well.
People see "3rd line" and interpret it as unimportant and that it therefore downplays Eller's abilities, when really they're the one's having trouble understanding the value in the position.
At least that's what I think. Maybe some people actually are trying to say Eller's a scrub. In which case I probably wouldn't care about anything thay have to say about the team anyway.
