guys there's a big game on tommorrow.
flyers and devils.
devils are 2 points back of the flyers for 5th in the division, if the devils lose they'd be 4 points back. So what does that mean? The devils against the habs becomes meaningless for them, and hopefully they rest some players for the playoffs.

They won't have much trouble against the woeful Habs unless they put Clemmensen in goal.

Woah there. I'm pissed off too, but don't go that far. We outplayed Buffalo for the majority of the game tonight. Two defensive lapses on our part, and it was over.

Negativity is abundant right now, but we still have a fightning chance.

Four games have to be played, no need to jump of a bridge just yet. Anything can happen. Maybe OVechkin will have like a 5 goal game or something, or Luongo stands on his head, or hell maybe the Habs will blow the Devils out.
That sounds more like it

The Devils are the hottest team in the NHL. In the recent game in the Bell Centre, they smothered the Habs, as they did in the two earlier games. I would be slightly cheered up if Lamoriello rested Brodeur, but I don't count on his magnanimity.

Then again, don`t forget, we need 1 thinny point! One point! We go in OT the next game and we`re in!

So the elimination of the Leafs compensates for everything else that's gone wrong?

In my glee over seeing the Leafs go down with that amazing OT goal, I didn't really realize that the Habs are teetering so close to elimination themselves.

Good luck the rest of the way. I'm pulling for Montreal to make it!

Well, yeah, but I felt a lot better back when it was 7 games. 3 of those have gone by now.

That's the last straw. I'm blocking this blockhead who refers to himself as habitué so that I don't experience intense revulsion.

He's had a solid year and played well in the checking role assigned to him. He deserved a new deal.

Good for Chad.
I always loved him in Montreal.
After he disappointed many earlier in his career I felt he was never given a solid shot at top line minutes. I honestly think he could put up 70+ points if he played a full year with top quality line mates.
