lol @ anyone bashing Dubinsky. Did he have an AWFUL year last year? Yes, but don't forget, the year before he lead the team in points and goals.

Its funny how in the summer of 2011, Dubinsky was one of the coveted young fowards in the game and virtually untouchable. He was a fan favorite and received a well-deserved raise.

He had a sub-par season in 2012 and all of a sudden, he's an overpaid 3rd liner.

But Nash is still elite, right? What he did (or didn't do) in 2012 was simply an abberration and he is still deserving to be the 5th highest paid player in the sport, right?

Right?

Funny how things work right? People act like the Rangers brass want to RUN Dubinsky out of town and how he's not of equal value. Thank you for sharing some clarity.

Yes, Dubinsky could bounce back to a 25+25 player. Just like Nash could become a 40+40 player. But at the moment, neither of them are. Neither has the value that they could.

Either treat both at the value they're currently at or treat both with the potential of what they could be. Choosing to view one player one way and the other player the other is just showing your bias.

Slats said Rangers aren't moving Dubinsky unless its in a package for a CLEAR upgrade. I really wish Doan would come here.. hags-Richards-Gabs.. kreider-stepan-Doan. Dubi-AA-Cally. Pyatt-boyle-rupp.. almost any line could score... That's something like we need

lmao....one effing year he's decent (dubs) and now Nash is the one that's overpaid.

We should just call up Brian Burke: You think he'd offer this monster package for Nash.

Tim Connolly (13 g 5.5MM salary, ie: Cap dump)
Matt Fratin, Joel Colborne, Jesse Blacker (three hohum guys, decent size at least)
2nd round pick (projected high 2nd rounder)

Similiar? CBJ fans does this Toronto offer best the Rangers significantly.

Now if Dubinskys so good like everyody else then there should be room to give up another good young roster player, no? No? Ok. How bout checkin your boy Thomas playoff numbers compared to Jenner from this year. And Boone's a yr younger!! Im still tryin to understand your guys "value" criteria but I know it means somethin...

Both Stepan and Kreider will be greater than Gretzky. Just you wait and see.

I guess the brainiacs around here don't know what constitues being an amateur.

Since their inception in 2000, the BJ's have drafted 67 forwards. Only two (Nash and Zherdev) became 15-goal scorers. One was 1st overall (Nash) and the other was 4th (Zherdev)

Answers are: Jenner, Tynan

And that 15 goal thing is just plain wrong.

Not one person has said that, but at 22, stepan put up 51 points on a defensive minded team first. Kreider has the potential to score 30 with his skillset. That's 2 players on ELC contracts with the potential to put up 60+ points each or more..

Hey, those same bashers have slammed Derek Roy because he had a "awful" year. It's the what have you done in the last few months mentality. Kinda pathetic.
