He'll probably be back in Smashville I mean they have the cash to make it happen. Also, Sergei's still there so it makes sense.

It's a shame he's got a 2 cent head. He's got incredible talent. I'm sure a cap floor team will offer him something because he's typically good for 20g and 40p.

Semin will sign in Russia before he does. AK is dedicated enough to the NHL to exhaust all his NHL options before going back home.

Nashville has so much money to spend, in fact, more than anyone else.

I seriously hope they are not going back to the olden days where they thought they were the Oakland A's, it was fun to see Nashville be a powerhouse this year.

I could see Phoenix working out for him.

Would be nice to see him back in the NHL next year. That guy was a big let down though. I started following hockey after the lock-out, and he was supposed to be the next big thing with the Habs. Never happened . Every year, he'd show flashes, but he could never put it together with consistency.

Very talented, he can throw the body, he is apparently a good locker room guy... I guess he's lacking hockey sense.

This was one of the 2 guys from Nashville I has said Phoenix should go for, him and Yip but Yips no longer on the market. I wouldnt mind signing him to a 3.25 mil contract for 3 years. If Phoenix could snag him, send a pick off to Vancouver for Raymond's rights, and resign a few of our lingering players from last year then we wouldn't be too bad off. Worst case is he doesn't pan out and we live with it for 3 years, not like this team is going to be hitting the cap ceiling any time soon.

I think he could go to Washington to replace Semin.

Would much rather have him on the Habs than Rene Bourque. He already has chemistry with Plekanec and to a lesser extent Eller.

This guy's got a lot of talent and if put in the right situation could have better numbers then last year.
The Islanders could really use a 25 goals, 35 assists winger.
Help reach the cap by giving him a nice 4yr deal for 15 mil.
At 27 he can change his way and and become an unbelievable player and
grow with this young team. We also dont lose anything to get him...
I will continue to hope for...

Much rather have Bourque, both are very similar, top 9 forwards, that can slip into a top 6 role due to injuries. AK is a bit more physical, but Bourque is better in his own end. Atleast if Bourque is having an off night, you can put him on the pk and make him useful, where with AK, if he decides to take the night off, the guy is useless.

Also watching AK all these years I noticed one thing, if the guy gets nailed hard with a hit early on in a game, the guys would be a beast the rest of the game.

Is this a euphemistic way of saying "3rd line guys"?

I wish the flyers would sign him up to a decent contract instead of making us all worry over these deals with Nash and Ryan

Not really, because I think both can play in a top 6 role, but with a good team, you'd like to slot them in a 3rd line role, and having them step up in a top 6 role with injuries, example a guy like Rich Peverley.

I wouldn't mind the Habs re-signing him.

1-2 year deal at 3-3.25 mill per.

New management and new coaching may be a new beginning for AK46.

Play him on the second with pleky and Gionta or worse case juggle him between second and third with Eller. He seemed to play well with both centers.

Give him a short term contract prove to us you matured and then collect your payday.

Desharnais has the big bodies in Max Pac and Cole
Pleky and Gionta need a big body on the 2nd.
A. Kost can do that.

I'd still prefer Doan as he's my first choice but I wouldn't mind A. Kost.
